Smart Ethernet and Web I/O Modules

Smart Web I/O Modules - ADAM-6000 Smart Web I/O Module are industrial-grade Ethernet hub/switch/IO for Ethernet networking solutions in Industrial Automation environments.
They allow users to expand their industrial networks fast and cost-effectively.
The data is presented to the host in Modbus TCP/IP, UDP, or TCP/IP.   Scada software such as Citect can use them.
RJ-45 connector is provided for ethernet.

Analog Input/Output Modules (ADAM-6015 to ADAM-6024) The analog input modules use microprocessor-controlled, high resolution, 16-bit, sigma-delta A/D converters to acquire sensor signals such as voltage, current, thermocouple or RTD.

Advantech has announces a new firmware enhancement for the ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O modules which adds
advanced Peer-to-Peer (P2P)  and  Graphic Condition Logic (GCL) functionality.

PEER TO PEER: With this functionality, these distributed Ethernet I/O modules can actively update input channel status to specific output channels. In the past, a controller was needed to read data from the Ethernet input modules to Ethernet output modules. Now the data will transfer automatically, with no extra controller or programming needed. Also, it can minimize the system response time.

GRAPHIC CONDITION LOGIC: GCL is a windows-based software utility to add control logic between input and output without extensive programming. GCL can easily create equivalent instructions to simple ladder logic instructions on PLC's. It also supports flexible cascade function locally or over the Ethernet network.

The ADAM-6000 modules provided a variety of input/output options, a simple PC ladder logic, logic cascade and feedback function, online monitoring of running status, the ability to connect to SCADA/HMI software, a built-in web server, and an extremely fast response time.

ADAM-6050 Series: Digital Input/Output/Counter, Relay

The digital input/output channels provide three operational modes, with each channel able to set its operational mode independently.
The counter/frequency module offers two 32-bit counter channels and a built-in programmable timer for frequency measurement.
The relay module offers six isolated digital input channels and six isolated relay channels.

With a 400 MHz Intel® XScale® processor packed into the small ADAM® form factor, ADAM-6501 provides a computing platform for challenging applications.
Equipped with a CompactFlash® slot, the controller can be equipped with custom applications or even WLAN capability.
There is also an embedded web server, FTP server, and telnet function that make it possible to create remotely operated stations.
ADAM-6501 has embedded Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET 4.2, and for applications there is 32 MB of onboard flash memory, and 64 MB SDRAM.
ADAM-6501 offers the optional Advantech Studio software, which makes it suitable for SCADA stations in EFMS applications.
