A new DeLoad Version 2 utility is now available free to download.
The new program combines the functionality of both smArtUnload and smArtLoad
programs.
All users are encouraged to upgrade to the new dataTaker DeLoad Version 2.00.
DeLoad Version 2.00 allows unloading of data from data loggers to a hard
disk or network location and
will allow the sending of data via email or ftp.
Data can be unloaded in CSV or HTML format.
HTML formatted data can be automatically imported into Excel to update graphs
in real time.
Emphasis in the design of the updated utility has been placed on ease of use.
Site administrators can pre-configure settings prior to deployment to non-technical
staff.
By a click of a button icon, non-technical users can now program a data logger
and unload data.
Icons can be created on the windows desktop for each logger.
To program the logger drag the program file to the data logger.
To unload data simply click on the data logger icon.
The new version of the utility can automatically connect dataTaker data loggers:
via local com ports
via a modem
via Ethernet
It can also send dataTaker data logger programs to:
internal RAM of the data logger
internal Flash of the data logger or
a memory card plugged into the data logger
The DeLoad will work with up to 50 dataTaker data loggers at once, allowing
data to be unloaded from all or from selected data loggers.
To automatically unload data from a data logger, the software can be run using
windows scheduler on a regular basis.
The DeLoad Version 2.00 is a lightweight utility that requires minimal computer
resources to operate, the installation files being less than 2 MBs in size.
The utility works with all Series 1, 2 and 3 dataTaker data loggers as well
as the DT800.
The program will run on all windows platforms except Win 3.x..
