DePlot is a plotting tool for DeTransfer, which produces chart recorder like plots of data that has been acquired by either dataTaker 50,500,600 series data loggers or dataTaker 80,800 series data loggers.
DePlot does not communicate directly with the data loggers
- DePlot is an OLE 'client' of DeTransfer.
DePlot receives data from DeTransfer via the OLE functions of Microsoft Windows
95, 98, NT and 2000.
DeTransfer in turn communicates with the dataTaker data logger to which it is
connected, and 'serves' the data returned from the data logger to DePlot.
DeTransfer version 3.14 or later is required by DePlot, and must be running before DePlot is launched in order to plot data returned from a data logger.
DePlot can produce plots of
Plots created from real time data, unloaded data and imported data can be saved to disk file, and later opened again within DePlot. DeTransfer does not need to be running to reopen saved plot files.
DeTransfer and DePlot will run on any Pentium or similarly equipped computer, preferrably with at least 32Mbyte RAM. The operating system can be any of Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000. Computers with faster processors and faster video RAM will be more responsive during redraw of large data sets.
