  Data Translation recommends
using USB 2.0 instead of PCMCIA (PC CARD) Data Acquisition Boards

What are the advantages of USB over PCMCIA cards?
Plug and play support in the operating system.        sns
Too much inconsistency in the PCMCIA card and socket services to allow for stability.
PCMCIA is good when it works, but when there are conflicts, troubleshooting can be difficult.
