Resistive
Touchscreens are for applications where speed
and accuracy are required.
They are used primarily for point of sales and
medical and industrial applications.
Resistive Touchscreens are versatile
and pens, gloved hands or bare skin can be used to acivate the touchscreen.
Capacitive touchscreens need bare
finger or wet glove to activate them. The surface is tougher than that of resistive
touchscreens.
SAW (Sound Acoustic Wave)
Touchscreens are for applications such as information kiosks.
They are
strong and are scratch and vandle proof. Water, dirt and contaminants can't get
in.
They work even when glass is scratched.
The user must use bare
skin or object that absords the sound waves to activate the touchsreen
A
panel mounted colour LCD display for industrial and similar applications.
It accepts analog VGA as well as PAL/NTSC/SECAM composite video.

CT2010 is a 10" HMI display perfect for panel or desk mounting in tough environments

Its all metal construction enable it to
be used in areas susceptible to high shock and vibration.

is a 19" display ideal for industrial environments where ultimate reliability

Display (ES-2000) series is a new display type that meets the needs of customers
who want less hassle and easy integration.
These displays are guaranteed
to work with the most current Advantech CPU cards, such as AIMB, SBCs.
The
Advantech ES-2000 Smart Display series have flexible LCD, touch screen, signal
interface and chassis mounting options. It's back cover has mounting holes for
industry standard 3.5" or 5.25" SBCs; or Advantech DSA-2100, ARK-1000
or ARK-3000 series embedded box computers.
It has panel mounting and VESA
mounting as well as four flexible mounting brackets for different integration

work using "transflective" LCD technology.
This actually reflects the sunlight
hitting the screen, back out through the LCD layers, so the image brightness is
proportional to the amount of light falling on the display.
Hence the backlight
in these LCDs is still a similar brightness to the standard version, it just uses
a different kind of technology to make it readable in sunlight. More
