Rogowski Coil Current
Transformers have no metal cores which make them extremely flexible and light
weight.
Because they lack a metal core, Rogowski coils have very low phase
shift error, can be used on very high currents, and are suitable for highly distorted
AC waveforms.
These “rope” style CTs are designed to take measurements where
standard current sensors cannot.
