Communications
USB and RS232 serial ports are standard with external options for Ethernet, Landline and GSM communications enabling global access and system integration of the 2020.

Multiple setups stored in memory
Up to six preconfigured setups, together with the setup in current use, are held in the memory. Switching between setups is extremely easy and fast using the convenient LCD and button panel, avoiding the need to connect to a PC, therefore reducing time and effort to switch between different data logging applications.

Comprehensive configuration
SquirrelView configuration, download and data export software permits full control and use of the 2020 data logger. The convenient LCD display and button panel enable metering and logging in true portable operation.

Concurrent sampling
Multiple ADCs enable true concurrent sampling.
One channel can sample at high speed whilst retaining different sample speeds on other channels.

SquirrelView
2020 logger setup and download, data export application for Windows 98, 2000 and XP. Features include metering and support for Modem, Ethernet and GSM communications.

SquirrelView Plus
Additional features include export of data direct to Excel,
on-line or historical graphing of data with manual and automatic scaling of charts. Readings can be listed in tabular format with date and time.

Thermal Barriers

The logger is housed in the Thermal Barrier to keep the heat out of the logger for as long as required..
The performance of a thermal barrier is measured in terms of the exposure time at a particular
temperature for a given maximum internal temperature.
The performance is closely related to the barrier’s insulation thickness.
The table below indicates the allowable exposure time over a range of temperatures for the
standard thermal barrier models assuming a maximum internal temperature of 70°C.

How does the OMK610 operate?
The data logger accurately records the actual temperature of the product during the cure process
and not just the air temperature thus ensuring optimum oven performance.
Temperature probes are attached to the product and connected to the data logger.
The data logger is then placed inside a thermal barrier, designed to protect the logger from excessive heat as it passes through the oven.

Thermal Barrier CI606-Q
The CI606-Q is designed specifically for paint and finishing ovens. Small, light and robust it will provide protection for the logger at 250°C for 50 minutes - long enough for most conveyor processes.

Temperature Probes
4 temperature probes (TC-K-Q3-2) are supplied with the OMK610 oven monitoring system.
These are universal fast response probes with clamp and magnet fastener which can be used for both surface and air temperature measurement. This means one probe can be used for many different applications.
