ETM9200 – Dual Band GSM Module

Power Supply
Power supply:   6 to 40VDC, 190mA at 12V 60mA at 40V.

Plug: 6/6 modular. Pin 1: plus (+ve),    Pin 4: Ignition (IGN),    Pin 6: minus (-ve )

NOTE: Pins 1 & 4 should be joined/soldered together. This is already supplied with power cable or internally in the WDM power supply.

With supplied cable:   White: plus,    Green: IGN; (Joined with White),       Blue: minus.

The ETM9200 has polarity protection. The module will not be damaged if it is
connected with incorrect polarity.
Power Supply WDM, Type ETM910 could be connected directly.

SIM Card
Install a SIM Card with a data number, which can be ordered from the network service provider.
Press the yellow button located next to the SIM card slot at one end of the unit
and the SIM card holder will be ejected. Put the card in the holder and push it back in again.
Make sure that it slides straight into the slot.

Aerial
Connect the dual band 900/1800 MHz aerial to the FME connector.

Indicators
The ETM9200 has one LED (green) to indicate the status of the device. At power up,
the LED will flash at a an approximate rate of 1 flash per second .

After the start up cycle the meaning is as follows:

Green flashing (once per second): Searching for operator/network
Green blinking (once every 2 seconds): Network is found and the module is logged in
Green ON: Ring signal from an incoming call, and Carrier Detect. The device is connected to a remote modem.

Use the Siemens TC35 manual as a reference for safety precautions,
AT Commands and RS232 connections at the 9 pin D-sub connector.
