Industrial Modems IG6000

IG6000 Industrial Modem

33,600 bps data pump, and separate controller chip. Uses the Motorola 68302 processor in 16 bit mode.     x
Functionally similar to the NetComm SmartModem with additional flash memory for voice message storage. Synchronous mode and leased line capability.

Dial in answer mode supported.

Low power mode.
The power input is protected against transients, brown out, and has a wide input range of 6V to 14.5V DC, protected against reverse polarity connection.
Power via serial connector: pin 9 and a diode.
Requires 6 - 14.5V DC, uses 3W on-hook and can power down to less than 0.1W in off-hook mode.

Port speeds up to 232,400 bps are supported.

Two control line ports available, via unused RS232 pins 12 and 13.
Each may be used either as an input for monitoring, or as an output for control.
Two different stored voice messages can be delivered in response to a control line operation.

PSTN, and 2 wire leased line with or without power are supported.
Multidrop applications are also provided for using FSK modes up to 1200 bit/s line rate.

The phone cable supplied with the IG6000 is suitable for use with normal, dial-up, voice (PSTN) lines.
For leased line: a special phone cable is available to connect the modem to a leased-line socket.

IC-150 Short Haul Modem

Use twisted pair to extend your RS-232 data distance to up to 10Km!

The IC-150 Short Haul Modem allows you to connect the RS-232 ports of remote devices for fast and easy file transfers and data sharing. Save on the cost of extra modems by installing a pair of these economical units and connecting them up with twisted pair cable. lhlo m n s zmxvzqd

Transfers can take take place over distances of up to 10km using either 4 wire (for Full Duplex) or 2 wire (for Simplex) telephone line. The nonpowered Line Driver facilitates efficient transmission and reception of serial data without requiring an external power source.

The unit drives your data at various speeds up to 19,200 bps over distances up to 800m using 24-gauge
wire (transmitting at 110 bps over distances up to 10km).
