BASIC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MODEM
FALCOM TWIST-USB
1. Do not connect the modem FALCOM TWIST-USB to the USB-Port of the PC (from point 2 up to point 10 below)
2. Connect the GSM antenna to the modem FALCOM TWIST-USB
3. Insert the SIM card into the modem FALCOM TWIST-USB
4. Connect the headset to modem FALCOM TWIST-USB
5. Load the installation CD (delivered with the modem) into the CD-drive of
your I'C
6. A Start-up screen appears automatically on the monitor of the PC
7. Click the "Read user guide" in the Start-up screen and read it
carefully
8. Click the "'Install Falcom Twist" in the Start-up screen.
Follow-up the installation steps (see page 19 and page 20,
fig 9, 10 and 11 in the "user guide")
Reboot the PC if it is needed,
9. Select the "Install the application" in the Start-up screen.
This application is a software called "BVRP Mobile
Phone Tools"
10. After following the installation instructions, exit the install screen.
11. Connect the USB-Data cable to the PC (see page 21, fig 12 in the
"User Guide").
12. Connect the USB-Dala cable to the modem FALCOM TWIST-USB
and follow-up Ihe instructions displayed on the monitor
of the PC to complete the installation procedure
(see page 21 and page 22, fig 13, 14 and 15)
NOTE: Make sure that the used USB-Port on the PC, where the modem FALCOM TWIST-USB
is connected to, is activated
and can deliver minimum 500 mA. In case of using an USB-hub, the same specifications
are required
