Spectrum 1700 Thermocouple Logger

Accepts types J (0 to 760°), K (-40 to 1250°), T (-50 to 350°), S (0 to 1400°C). 1 to 4 channels.
Acc ±0.25% of full scale (input signal range) at 25°C cold junction temperature.
czs

  • Connects directly with commonly available thermocouple temperature probes (types J, K, T, and S)
  • Record temperatures up to 2,550° F. (1,400°C.)
  • Automatic cold junction temperature compensation for accurate and reliable readings
  • 12-bit resolution for outstanding sensitivity over wide measurement ranges
  • Optional weatherproof NEMA 4X enclosure protects against harsh environments

Compact and efficient alternatives to chart recorders and bulky data acquisition systems, the loggers are fully compatible with readily-available thermocouple probes in J, K, T, and S configurations.
Capable of monitoring temperatures up to 2,550° F. (1,400° C.), the units automatically scale the collected thermocouple data directly into your choice of degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius, eliminating the need for complex calculations or reference tables.

The loggers feature an on-board precision-calibrated thermistor sensor that provides cold-junction temperature compensation over the entire operating range, allowing you to use them accurately in harsh and demanding environments. Plus, each Spectrum Logger input channel is precision-calibrated during manufacture, eliminating any need for adjustment in the field.

Simple to set up and use, the data loggers require no programming or complicated equations.
To operate, simply select the type of thermocouple probe you are using, make your connections to the terminal block, and begin logging. The units are completely self-contained and self-powered, so you don’t need bulky transmitters, signal conditioners or external power sources, making them a convenient choice for remote in-field applications.

Available in single, dual and four-channel versions, Spectrum Loggers are ideal for high temperature process monitoring.
They are also well-suited for remote monitoring applications where reliable long-life battery operation is essential.
