Trackballs: The various trackball types can either be directly integrated into the system or they can be used as stand-alone mounting types for the corresponding application.

Touchpad: In particular for notebook users, touchpads offer a familiar tactile feedback. Basically, the application of touchpads allows to achieve the highest degrees of protection, since the complete surface is sealed.

Joystick: A further mounting option is the OEM joystick. The standard version of the joystick features two axes, a cursor stick with integrated mouse button and a compact and robust housing according to the protection level IP65.

Advanced Features

The middle key button can be set as Primary Key “Click & Drag”
Chording (pressing key buttons at the same time) all 3 keys and the speed button allows the middle key to generate “Click & Drag” function for the Primary Function (Left key in right hand mode).
Chording the 3 keys & speed button again causes the middle key to revert to Auxiliary Function.

The middle key button can be set as Primary Key “Double Click”
Chording the left, middle and right keys allows the middle key to generate a double click of the Primary Function.

The secondary key button can be set a Primary Key “Click & Drag”
Chording the right key and the speed button allows the key assigned to the Secondary Function (the right key in right hand mode) to operate in “click and Drag” mode for the secondary function.

Cleaning functions can be done without disassembling the unit, by spinning the ball fast in a diagonal direction, and by pressing down on the ball and moving the ball in a circular way. If these actions are insufficient then the case can be opened for further cleaning inside.

It can be mounted in any postion: upside down, sideways, angled to the application etc. The user moves a hand or finger over an optical lens to communicate desired direction, speed, and distance of cursor movement. HT is patented in its operation and design

HT can be panel mounted; Velcro adhered or just loosely placed on an existing control surface. The HT requires no software drivers. The HT is more rugged than an industrial track ball and is more precise that a sealed touchpad or joystick.
