Motion®, a leading global provider of tablet PCs and supporting mobility solutions, announced last week (Jan 2011) its exciting new business tablet CL900 at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The Motion® CL900 is a robust tablet with a flexible feature set that enables access and the utilisation of data while mobile.
Offering dual touch and stylus input, a rugged design and robust connectivity for on-the-go collaboration.
For future expansion, the CL900 will feature a peripheral module that will enable simple device expansion.
Tightly secured and integrated into the device, the peripheral module will incorporate key documentationtools without compromising durability.
Peripheral modules will be released later in 2011.
"Motion's new CL900 will enable users to take advantage of connected applications, while also supporting uninterrupted productivity in remote or disconnected areas," said David Altounian, Motion CEO.
The CL900 is light weight at less than a kg (2.1lbs) featuring superior display and is as tough as it is brilliant. The Docking Station transforms the C5 or F5 into a full-featured desktop computing & charging solution. Three viewing angles are provided to support charging, keyboarding, and pen orientations.
External ports support an external VGA display, RJ45 network connectivity, and all your favorite USB accessories – such as a full-size keyboard, mouse, and printer.
The Docking Station also includes a charging bay to charge an additional battery which can be hot-swapped when the tablet is docked. Support for a universal lock slot is also provided for added security.
