ACR SmartReader Plus data loggers are multi-channel, high quality data loggers that monitor a variety of parameters and feature a 10 year battery life. The alarm feature alerts when thresholds are transgressed, via phone or email*. These loggers are accessible remotely by modem or device server; multiple loggers can also be linked to form a network. Durability is assured with a 3-year logger warranty and 10-year battery life.
On many competitive products, if a replaceable battery comes loose or dies, you could lose the data – the lost time and effort far outweighs any price difference. The SRP range is carefully designed for ultra-low power consumption, with its a 12-bit successive approximation A-D converter. When the recording interval is set longer than 8 seconds, the readings are sampled every 8 seconds and averaged over the recording interval. This gives a much more realistic picture of what you’re measuring, compared to just taking 1 measurement each recording interval.
Software Packages (TrendReader) are purchased separately as they can support more than one device.
Faster logging, up to 25 samples per second, is supported using an external power source (USB cable or BP-101 Battery Pack option, see below).

The SmartReader Plus 1 is a powerful and accurate data logger designed for easy monitoring and recording of temperature. With one internal ambient temperature channel and an input for an optional remote temperature or contact closure sensor, the SmartReader Plus 1 is ideal for quick and accurate temperature recordings in a variety of applications. Compatible with ACR’s TrendReader® software .

SmartReader Plus 10:
RTD temperature data logger, 1 internal and 3 external sensors
SmartReader Plus 10 is a temperature logger with four channels. Sn internal thermistor channel and three external channels specifically designed for use with RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) temperature probes, designed to precisely measure temperature over a wider temperature range than a thermistor, without sacrificing accuracy or resolution.
Two-, three-, and four-wire RTDs may be used with the SmartReader Plus 10, however, four-wire RTDs produce the highest accuracy. RTDs with a Temperature Coefficient Resistance (TCR) of 0.00385 can be used with this data logger.

SmartReader Plus 2:
Relative Humidity & Temperature data logger, supports internal and external sensors
SmartReader Plus 2 is a self-contained data logger that can monitor and record temperature and relative humidity – right out of the box. The on-board RH sensor is temperature compensated, permitting reliable, worry-free RH readings. For remote sensing of temperature and RH, simply attach ACR’s temperature/RH probe, or for remote temperature sensing, attach ACR’s thermistor probe.

Response Time:
Adequate ventilation increases the response time which is approximately 5 minutes in still air.
Environmental Conditions:
Like all relative humidity sensors, when exposed to contaminants and/or extreme environmental conditions accuracy degradation could result. For maximum long-term stability, sensor should not be exposed or subjected to organic solvents, corrosive agents (acids, SO2, H2SO4, Cl2, HCl, H2S, etc.), and strong bases (compounds with PH greater than 7). Dust settling on the sensor surface will not affect sensor performance except possibly to decrease the speed of response.

SmartReader Plus 5:
Thermocouple temperature data logger, 1 internal and 2 external sensors
The SmartReader Plus 5 data logger is ideal for those applications that require monitoring extremely high temperatures or monitoring temperature over a wide range. The logger has one internal channel for measuring ambient temperature and two external channels for use with ACR thermocouple wire or any J, K, S, T or E type thermocouple wire.

BP-101 Battery Pack
SmartReader Plus Data Loggers require the BP-101 Battery pack to log at rates faster than once every 8 seconds. A male stereo jack and cable plugs directly into the communication port on the logger. Uses 4 AAA batteries (included) and are user replaceable.
