One-Touch VLAN configuration
The EKI-2718E-2CI simplifies network segmentation and security with its intuitive DIP switch configuration, activated by a simple touch, allowing users to effortlessly enable VLAN, QoS and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP) settings – no specialised IT expertise required. The series features two VLAN configurations – VLAN Scheme 1 where all ports are isolated and VLAN Scheme 2 where all ports are divided into two separate groups, preventing interconnection.
These port-based VLAN configurations allow for efficient group isolation, empowering high-port models with secure and effective network segmentation typically found in managed switches, without the associated costs. Designed for ease of use and rapid deployment, the EKI-2718E-2CI includes a pull-down DIN rail mounting kit, ensuring simple installation in industrial environments.
Rugged design for challenging environments
The EKI-2718E-2CI is engineered to endure the toughest conditions, making it ideal for outdoor applications, especially in areas prone to lightning.
