The REDi is a portable, handheld device that facilitates radio communication with Wireless Mini loggers. The REDi enables a user to gather recorded data from selected loggers and to collect the log data from many remote sites before transferring this data to a PC. In addition, the REDi has the ability to display statistics about the data (including readings out of specification) and to restart loggers.

The unit is physically arranged in an easy to hold handheld plastic case which is battery powered and contains a large liquid crystal display (160 x 160 bitmap) and 7 key keyboards. A communications connector, which allows the REDi to be connected to a PC, is supplied with the unit and can be mounted at the top of the unit.

The REDi is menu based. To trigger actions and display data the user must select a menu item by using the up / down arrow keys to move a highlight bar over that option then select it using the Select key (OK button). The Select key is also used to toggle between states and to return to a higher level menu.

The REDi has a power down key (bottom left hand button) which will immediately put the unit into sleep mode, as well as an escape key which will return the screen to an earlier menu (generally Menu 1).

Escort Console and Escort User Admin Software for compliance with the US Food and Drug Admin., Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11

The User Admin Package (available as JA-SWP-UAP) was built to set up a database of Console Professional users on a network or single PC.

The User Admin Package will allow the access to the User Login and Digital Signature features in the ESCORT Console Professional software to be enabled. When the User Admin Package is not available these commands will be greyed out.

As the User Admin Package is a separate piece of software, it can be installed on a server, thus restricting access to user data to the server administrator.

The user database contains all the options necessary to establish unique electronic signatures and file tracking as required by FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11.

Due the high security levels required for FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliance the ideal setup for the User Admin Package is in a network environment with general user administration in place.
