Sensors that detect soil conditions have become an important tool for modern farmers in crop production. The benefits of soil sensor are obvious. Due to differences in electrical resistance or electrical conductivity, information on soil moisture and soil particle composition can be clearly reflected, as well as intuitive conclusions on density, pH, salinity/conductivity and temperature. Through the network construction on the farm, the real-time parameters collected by the soil sensor are transmitted to the computer mainframe and connected with the system installed on the machine to realize automatic control spraying of fertilizer and pesticide. Ordering Instructions:
Electrode Maintenance:
PH electrode is not used at ordinary times and can be soaked in 3mol/l KCL solution or saturated KCL solution. It is strictly prohibited to immerse the electrode in distilled water and deionize the water or tap water with minimal plasma content.If the PH electrode is contaminated with inorganic substances, it can be cleaned with 0.1mol/l Hcl or NaOH solution for a few minutes and then washed with distilled water. If the PH electrode is contaminated with organic substances, it can be cleaned with alcohol or acetone and then cleaned with distilled water.(note: the protective cap before the electrode should be removed when using);

RK500-22 Soil PH Sensor
The soil contains many substances such as organic acid, inorganic acid, alkali and salt, due to the different content of various substances, so the soil shows different ph value. Usually the pH in the range of 6.5-7.5 soil is called the neutral soil. RK500-03 EC / Salinity Sensor
The probe of EC sensor is made of graphite electrode that has the characteristics of stable performance, high sensitivity, wide application scope. EC sensor is of simple structure, with stable performance, easy for operation, used in the field monitoring of water & salt dynamics in soil. Therefore, it is an ideal observation instrument in the study of generation, evolution, and improvement utilization of saline soil. Also, it can be used in the anti-corrosion monitoring of underground oil, gas pipelines and other pipelines. The sensor an also be directly submerged in liquid, to measure its electrical conductivity.
Soil salinity sensor integrates graphite electrode and precision platinum resistance, to measure the soil salt through temperature compensation algorithm. After submerged into the soil, it can directly test salt content in the soil.

1. In Soil
- Section installation
In the area of need to measure dig a soil profile, determine the position of the sensor and depth in the section, the section on level to dig deep for 10-20 cm round hole, insert the sensor level until the bottom of the hole, then filled out of the clay compaction, to ensure that the sensor electrode surface closely contact with soil.Sensors buried, the soil pit backfill compaction sequence according to the original soil layer.
- Ground stiletto installation
In the measurement area, down from the ground to play a hole to the desired depth, sensor inserted to the bottom of the hole, closely contact with the soil, will then stratified backfill compaction.

RK520-01 Soil Moisture & Temperature Sensor
RK520-01 Soil Moisture & Temperature Sensor to integrate the moisture and temperature measurement. The stainless steel probe is inserted into soil surface or soil profile to test soil moisture and temperature quickly. - If surface soil water content measurement, the sensor should be insert into soil vertically. Do not shake the sensor when inserted, otherwise the probe will be blended;
- If multi-layer soil water content measurement, the sensor should be buried in the soil and parallel to the ground. Make sure the probe not be blended;
- When removing sensors from the soil, please hold the sensor housing shell and do not forcibly pull on the cable. Soil on probes should be brushed tightly.
- Please keep the sensor in dry & clean conditions.
