Following are the highlights of the Fourtec data logging range.
Fourtec DataNet Wireless Data Logging System
The DataNet wireless system is designed for monitoring multiple temperature / humidity points, and other measurements, across whole facilities, 24×7. The wireless links use ZigBee technology, which is a reliable meshed network using the 2.4GHz band. Hence it does not require connection to existing WiFi networks and will not interfere with them.
The system starts with the sophisticated DataSuite software which is run on a PC and collects all the logged data. This PC connects via USB to the main wireless Receiver unit which connects wirelessly with all the loggers. The DataNet wireless data loggers can be placed at all the locations to be monitored around the facility. The data loggers can be remotely set up and updated over the air, and feature built in memory and battery backup so they do not lose data if the PC, receiver or wireless network temporarily goes down.
Data logger models range from single channel temperature loggers, up to 6-channel loggers with onboard humidity and temp sensors and 4 universal sensor inputs. For long distances or tough wireless environments, repeaters can be used, and the loggers themselves can also double as repeaters. This makes the system extremely versatile, and the graphical software makes it easy to set up and diagnose the wireless links.
Fourtec MicroLite USB Data Logger
The MicroLite USB data logger range is a cost effective, versatile range of small data loggers with display and built-in USB port. Models include temperature (internal or external sensor), humidity and temp, voltage (0-10V), and current (4-20mA). There is no cradle or paid software required, as the software is freely downloadable, making them very good value for money. The loggers are fully featured, with LCD displays, alarms, LED indicators, magnet start/stop/mark, user replaceable CR2032 battery, and IP65 protection (temp model) / IP54 protection (other models). With their 32,000 sample memory and excellent accuracy specs, MicroLite are the logger of choice for a wide variety of applications.
Fourtec PicoLite Single Trip Temperature Data Logger
The Picolite Single Trip Temperature Data Logger is designed for tracking temperatures in goods shipments, especially for long trips such as international shipping. Their low cost and ease of setup and unloading, mean that they make it super easy to monitor your goods without having to think about how to get the loggers back home again. The simple Boomerang application on the receiver’s PC means that all the receiver needs to do is plug the logger into their PC, and the PDF report will automatically be emailed back to the sender. The 2-colour LED also gives an immediate indication of alarm conditions, and the 16000 sample memory and 6 month battery mean that even the longest trips are recorded in full detail.
Fourtec DaqLink Multi Channel Data Logger
The DaqLink is a general purpose, 6 channel data logger designed for stand-alone applications. With onboard temp (and optional humidity) sensors, as well as 4 universal sensor inputs, the DaqLink covers a wide variety of data logging scenarios at a very competitive price. Its USB connection and DataSuite software make it easy to set up and easy to view, store and analyse the recorded data.
