Two new additions to the UTC-500 series have been released by Advantech. The UTC-515I and 520I AiO touch computers are 15.6-inch and 21.5-inch all-in-one devices with new platform technology and enhanced serviceability. Powered by the Intel® Core™ i5-1145G7E 11th Gen. processor, these two models come with 8GB DDR4 memory, one M.2 slot and one SATA connector for storage expansion. They feature an IP65-rated front bezel and fanless cooling system housed within rugged aluminum to facilitate reliable 24/7 operation in harsh industrial environments. The industrial ruggedness makes the UTC-515I and 520I ideal for shop floor line displays, equipment control terminals and touch control interfaces for intelligent buildings, interactive information displays and kitchen display systems.
Enhanced mechanism design with easy swap storage
The UTC-515I and 520I AiO touch computers have an enhanced design for easy service and maintenance. Using a separate service door at the back of the unit, users can easily swap the SSD/HDD without having to remove the entire back cover. This refined feature helps technicians maintain and upgrade the system quickly and easily, reducing the total cost of ownership.
Superior performance and security
The new devices are powered by Intel® Core™ i5-1145G7E 11th Gen. processors with integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, for which Core™ i3-1115G4E and Core™ i7-1185GRE versions are also available. The UTC-515I and 520I deliver superior productivity to enable modern AI applications, along with TPM 2.0 hardware encryption for data security. Supporting multiple OSs — including Windows 10/11, IoT Enterprise and Linux Ubuntu — these all-in-one computers are compatible with contemporary IT infrastructure and diverse ecosystems.
Industrial-grade reliability for harsh environments
The devices employ a fanless cooling design that allows them to withstand harsh ambient conditions and extends their lifecycle by reducing dust and debris accumulation. The IP65-certified front panel protects against water and dust to meet the demands of industrial and commercial environments.
Advanced connectivity and manageability
The dual Gigabit Ethernet ports provide plenty of bandwidth for the system to connect to the Internet and other IoT devices that support the industrial standard. By installing a WiFi or 4G/LTE module on an M.2 slot, users can deploy the system in remote areas and connect it to IoT networks wirelessly without extra electrical installations.
Adaptable to a wide variety of functional peripherals
The UTC-515I and 520I models can be equipped with diverse peripherals, including a camera, magnetic stripe reader, NFC/RFID reader, and barcode scanner to augment system functionality. An optional dedicated rear I/O cover protects connectors and cables, yielding a secure, reliable solution adaptable to various applications.
